The Honourable Sir Hedworth Meux (né Lambton; 5 July 1856 – 20 September 1929) enjoyed an active career which saw him become a household name during the Second Boer War for his actions during the Siege of Ladysmith. His career culminated in his appointment as Admiral of the Fleet.
